Completion of day care nursery - Obohen, Central Region

ObocoTrust is a certified community development foundation dedicated to uplifting rural communities through grassroots initiatives. Our strength lies in community-driven resource mobilisation, drawing support from local residents, members of the diaspora, and well-meaning individuals in urban areas.

Currently, we are seeking support to complete and operationalise a Day Nursery School in our community. This initiative aims to promote early childhood education, especially for families where parents are engaged in farming and other demanding livelihoods during the day. By providing a safe and nurturing learning environment, we hope to give young children a strong foundation for lifelong learning and growth.

Thanks to the remarkable communal spirit, the community has already secured land and constructed a standard school building through voluntary contributions and collective effort. These modest contributions have achieved so much.

However, the project has now reached a critical stage and requires additional funding to be completed. The remaining components include:

1. School equipment (Desks, Stationary etc)
2. Electrical installations
3. Construction of washroom facilities
4. Fencing
5. Landscaping

We are therefore appealing for financial assistance and partnership to help bring this meaningful project to full completion. Your support will directly impact the lives of young children and their families, enabling access to quality early education in a safe and supportive environment.
